Garden Wildlife

I am always amazed how much wildlife I can almost literally fall over, just outside my front door. We have a lovely hedgehog which is often found in the garden. I always think of hedgehogs as being small, but in the flesh they are quite large. They are under threat in towns as people neaten up their gardens with paving and decking. No such tidiness here so the hedgehogs can live in green luxury! and the dog is bright enough not to bother getting near to their prickly skin.
