What a beautiful month April was. With the changing weather patterns I think April is often one of the best times of year to visit the Lakes. A dry and sunny start to Spring. People were a little giddy I though venturing out in shorts and stripping off to bare chests, but I was willing to join in with an ice cream. However as ever with this part of the world it changed in May. There is snow on the fells this morning. Yesterday I took Shadow out for a walk on her birthday and then it started to hail. Neither of us were very impressed. Nonetheless the sun has arrived again today and though it might be chilly-bong the brightness is making everyone feel much better than yesterday. Tatty-Bye.
